Stewart A. Zelman, Ph.D.

Stewart A. Zelman, Ph.D., is a psychologist, trainer and founder of the Centers for Motivation. During his 20 years of professional practice he has developed an understanding of human potential and motivation. He directs individuals and groups to master their lives, careers and relationships. He consults with senior executives and community leaders to install quality resources for enhancing performance at all levels of an organization. He uses his skills to improve productivity, reduce wasted time and improve communication. As a trainer he has authored a number of programs dealing with leadership, stress and time management, motivation and creativity. Dr. Zelman and his staff also provide support services to corporations, educational institutions, federal and state government and individuals.

     Dr. Zelman has for many years contributed his time and expertise to physically and emotionally challenged youth. He is co-founder of PVTA, a nationally accredited, non-profit horseback riding center for disabled children. His vision is to support all individuals in reaching their greatest potential, improve their ability to be productive and ultimately the quality of their lives.

Eileen Crawford, Ph.D.

Eileen Crawford, Ph.D. has been a Professor of English for more than 25 years at the University of the District of Columbia. She directs the English Honors Program, co-authored the Pan African Writing sequence for Freshman English Program, and established a Program in African and African-American Studies. 

Dr. Crawford has chaired and made professional presentations at the Modern Language Association, the College Language Association, and the African Literature Association. She serves as a consultant to the Educational Testing Service, the College Board, the Educational Development Testing Service and the District of Columbia special project on Improving English Instruction. She has served on the Boards of Beacon College, the District of Columbia Humanities Council, the District of Columbia Educational Council and Opera Americana. 

Dr. Crawford is the author of numerous articles in scholarly journals: the College Language Association, the Mid-Atlantic Writers Association, Ufahamu, the Journal of Negro History, and the Journal of Black Studies. She is presently at work on an anthology of African Literature for St. Martin's/Bedford Books. She leads reviews and discussion groups for radio stations, literary societies, and theater companies in the Washington, D. C. area.

Ken Allen, MSW

Ken Allen, MSW has 25 years experience working with individuals and organizations that are growing, training personnel and making changes. For 12 years he was involved in the yachting industry in various roles as broker, negotiator, trainer and manager. This background has enabled him to experience many phases of corporate tasks and cultures. These corporate tasks include design, production, marketing, sales, and the successful delivery of product to client. For the past 10 years he has focused on the maximizing of individual and team productivity, efficiency and excellence. He has designed and analyzed systems for data management and contact software for increasing efficiency. He has become an expert in functionality. An enthusiastic presenter, he brings a wealth of experience and examples to training. He is an avid offshore sailor and downhill skier who enjoys pushing the limits of excellence and adventure both personally and professionally.

Claudia Bussmann-Burris, LSW

Claudia Bussmann-Burris, LSW is a master practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a certified hypnotherapist and a sex therapist. She trained both in Germany and the United States and is certified to practice psychotherapy in both countries. Claudia received her Bachelors degree in Pedagogy and Masters in Social Work. As a sex therapist, she finds that improving sexual relations in couples opens them to greater intimacy. Her work is short term and solution focused. Claudia's background includes consultation for a variety of mental health organizations, addressing the issues of individuals, couples and families. She brings 10 years of experience to her work as a psychotherapist. Claudia is an avid scuba diver and has recently learned to fly fish. She currently maintains a private practice in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
